The very first Stoelzel's structures model that I made was the Cottage. This was a new experience for me. Although I had made many card models in the past I had never used foam-board before. Fortunately, my previous modelling experience stood me in good stead. The Cottage itself was quite easy to make but making all of the furniture items for it was very time consuming and labour intensive. 3D view of the Cottage. The back of the Cottage with my figure of Vampifan to give a sense of the size of it. An interior shot with the front wall at the top of the photo. Most but not all of the furniture items were designed by Carl. You can see a lot more photos of this model along with a detailed review of it on my blog here - vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/stoelzels-structures-cottage.html

It's builds like this that caused me to first start referring to you as "Vampifan the Great"! The building itself is a splendid result, but what I really admire is your dedication in creating all the furniture and other touches like opening doors. These lift your efforts into the realm of jealousy creating models! As always, a damn fine result my friend. I've built a couple of the cottages myself, but not even posted about them on my blog; when I do, you'll be able to see the difference between your model buildings and my wargames terrain - I hope!

This was one of Carl's first models I built in 15mm. I really like your version. Especially the indoor accessories.
